Is it normarl for A4's to run past half on the temp gauge?

Normal running temps &Comments on 30v, MY2000
I have found that our 00 30v rarely went abouve the 1/2 way mark but was creeping past it before I did the timing belt/waterpump(58k). Why does this matter? Well, I found when doing the job that the condensor and side vents to the radiator were filled with leaves and debris. The radiator was filled with leaves as well. After cleaning both out , the temp guage is rock solid on the 1/2 way mark, even with hard driving or hot outside temps&traffic. You may want to check the above mentioned items before investigating fan switches and the like. Good luck.

that is weird that youhave had the tb wp thermostat all replaced and still the same problem.. q
my 96 a4 did that 2 years ago and when i replace the thermostat it stoped having similar issues but i wants leaking coolant.. so not exactly the same where did you buy the car? have you checked the hoses yourself atleast the ones you can see do you know if it is leaking from the right side or left? can you see coolant on the ground?
