Default Doesn't everyone know this by now?

I think a 30+ year run for any model is pretty good.

Default Don't be so proud, I didn't spend any extra to get there.

Maybe if I weren't so lazy i'd get some drag radials and get into the 12s. What's that cost, 400 bucks? What'd you spend to get a *snicker* 13.5?

You aren't driving a Supra TT so don't kid yourself. You'll never compete in the hp wars with an Audi A4, it just can't be done.

Default Lets see, I would say less then $2500.

But my car should be running mid-high 12's with stock tires. Oh BTW my 60 ft was 2.1 when I did the 13.5 at 106.60 mph and kick a lightnings *** doing it and he had slicks. My normal 60 ft times were .3 faster then that one but I had bad compression. Why dont you go look for the A4 that just did a 10 second run in Europe. I also guess if you plan on running slicks you better change your gears while your at it if you have not done that yet.

I don't understand what you mean about changing gears. The most I would go with is a 3.73 on the stock rear end. Going to a 4.10 would not be smart with any sort of real sticky tire. Unless I get a 12-bolt or a Ford 9" that can take the abuse. I have trouble believing you "beat" a Lightning running a 13.5. That's a lame time. There are several Lightnings I know of that have run a 12.662 and a 12.617 at around 104 - 108 mph with the basic mods people do to them.

Maybe i'll spend 2500 on my car and run 11s. I believe you spent more than that though. Bad compression? I'll roll my eyes to that...

Nope did not spend more then that. Roll your eyes to this. I had my compression checked and stock is around 180-190 lbs. I got 130, 120, 162 and 145. these numbers are even with the rings wet. I now lost cylinders #2 and #4 and cant drive the car since the CEL blinks and throws multi misfire codes for those cylinders.

Default They were taking the head off today. We have the new rings and a new head gasket for the car already

Just want to make sure there is not anymore damage then just the rings. I should know more about the car either tonight or tomorrow.
