Noticed a noise from my engine...

But I'm not sure if it's a "supposed to be there" noise or not. I've had the car for a little over a week, and I have no other experience with the 1.8T engine. To me, it sounds like the beginnings of a pulley going... kind of a squeaky/rubby sound. It's coming either from the very front of the engine, or perhaps the passenger side. As far as I can tell, it's one of the following:
1. Timing Belt tensioner
2. AC Compressor
3. VBelt tensioner
4. Supposed to be there
It's only barely audible inside the car when the climate control is completely off and car isn't moving (road noise from tires drowns it out). Car has 93K on it. Any other ideas?
I'm doing my TB and all my other belts on Friday/Saturday.

Could also be the bearings for the water pump--you should change the pump with the TB install anyway.
Sounds like a pulley/bearing to me as well.
