O2 or Kombi-valve? Advice needed...

Default O2 or Kombi-valve? Advice needed...

I have two codes right now. One for O2 sensor bank 1 Pos 1 resistance too high and the other is secondary air - incorrect flow detected. If I clear the codes, the secondary air code comes back right away, but the CEL waits for about 3 days before it does. Once the CEL is on, the code for the O2 sensor is there too.

The secondary air pumps runs, I just hear a high pitched whiny noise from it when it's on and there is alot of air blowing backwards from the air box (I had the intake hose in front of the engine open and felt it). This leads me to believe the kombi valve needs to be replaced for sure, and that I should hold off on the )2 sensor to see what happens once it's getting the correct airflow from the SAI pump. Am I correct in my thinking?

Default got that incorrect flow code from a cracked tube going into the combi valve.

didn't notice it til I went to replace the combi valves.
not sure about the relation to the O2s... I had to replace those to.

Default you can remove the combi valve and test to see if it's blocked

it works like a bypass valve. It is closed under normal conditions, opens when there is vacuum going to the nipple on top. I had one that got so full of soot that it wouldn't open. I had another that I was able to clean out with some alcohol and salvage.
