O2 sensor question? More inside .... please help

Default O2 sensor question? More inside .... please help
I searched the forum and found many answers but does anyone know if the vw o2 sensor that is like 25.00 actually works on our cars and two what the part number for it is? My b1 o2 sensor is coming out with a code so I need to replace it. Any help would be appreciated.

model year 2000 has the $25 vw sensor.

ECS Tuning has a Bosch universal one for ~$85

You can buy a special open socket for it but I used a simple adjustable wrench
