I am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the 98 A4 1.8T that shows the O2 sensors. The reason I ask is because I want to figure out how much resistance to add to which wire to the after cat sensor to not make the CEL not go off when I install my test pipe. Once I get it figured out I'll try to post a tech pub so everyone using a test pipe can run without a CEL and no non-fouler plugs etc...
Thanks for the help

so that when smog time comes around, you can throw your cat back on and not have to mess with the wiring again.
Plus, I'm sure most are happier drilling out a non-fouler than messing with electricals.
However, I'm not necessarily one of those people, so I'm anxious to see how your efforts unfold, if you choose to go that route. Just saying you don't need to re-invent the wheel.

On monday when I go back to work, I will design an o2 sim for the specs of audi and use factory connectors. I have all this stuff at my dispose at delphi. Sound good?

Given the cost of O2 sensors and strict emissions testing, I see no reason to mess with the electronics.
The non-fouler works if installed properly, and is easily 100% reversible.
If you short the wrong part of your O2 sensor, you will fry the ECU. This WILL NOT happen with a non-fouler.
So, I stand by what I said.
