Occasional loss of boost, any ideas?
Occasionally, I won't be able to get more than 5 psi of boost. Normally, I see 16-17 psi spikes with my GIAC chip, but then all of a sudden its gone. I remember somebody saying a couple days ago that if the wastegate is stuck open, you wouldn't see more than 5 pounds of boost. It also seems that even when I am seeing normal levels of boost, my gauge boost gauge seems to pause at 5 psi for a split second before continuing on. Do you think that my turbo could be going, or do you think that it is something else.

I've had it on there for about five months.
I was thinking that it might be the BPV as well, but I thought that if it was bad, there would always be a problem. I can go a couple days without this happening once, but then it may happen once a day and only last for a couple miles.
