Default occasional white smoke with WOT. help please? yes, i have done a search.

a friend was following me in his 330ci yesterday and we were having some fun. he said 2 or 3 times when i got on the car hard that he saw a little cloud of white smoke out the exhaust. he said it definetely wasn't blue or grayish and it definetely wasn't black. i know white smoke generally means burning off coolant. is there any other less serious possibilities for this white smoke at WOT? under normal conditions there is no smoke and it's just occasionally on WOT that i get the smoke. i have also noticed white smoke when i am backing up. could this be a head gasket problem?
my coolant was at the min line the other day so i topped it off a little bit. the level still looks fine.
the new engine has about 18,000 miles on it. i have no cat.
is this serious or should i not worry about it. are there any other symptoms i should look for?
if it is serious, what am i looking at for repairs?
TIA, Liam

Default Yeah, but he's superman as far as most of us are concerned...

It's work...no idea how much in terms of cost, but 4 hours would be a good starting point.
