Default The Odd Button on the Inside of my A4 B Pillar

OK,, I am a Noob. But I have been reading posts on this site for a while know. I find it very informative, and have corrected many issue's.

But I have a question about a odd button on the B Pillar of my 98.5 A4. I would think it is the Alarm kill switch but am not 100%. Do to the fact that I come from the school of thought if you don't know what it is don't touch it. But I would like to know if any of you may know what it may be? I have had this car for about a year but it did not come with a manual. I ordered the Bentley CD-ROM but it has not come in yet. But just throwing this out, if any one may know

Ever try locking you car with the windows open???
That button is to stop the friggin' alarm from going off everytime the wind blows...

Never mind this post it was very pre-mature. Got the info in a search that worked this time.

Default my God, this question is so retarded

do a search for 'b pillar button' (exactly what you called it) and you'll come up with 123 results. the very first one answers your questions!
if you admit to being a n00b and being around the forums, you should know damn well that there's a FAQ and a SEARCH function!!!!

end rant.
