Default Is OEM Coolant required?

My pink stuff is running low. Do I have to replace it with the oem stuff or is any coolant ok? Does it need to be replaced or can I just top it off? I have 55k on my car...

Default don't mix them!....

doing so may cause jelling. top it up with distilled water for now. if 30K service was done then coolant change is scheduled at 60K. G12 is recomended.

Default Yes, only pink OEM coolant. If you're just a little low, add water.

If you've got a leak, and you're adding once a week or something, obviously (*cough*GET IT FIXED*cough*) use the pink stuff & keep the mixture around 50/50.

Default If your coolant is above the "min" line, just add distilled water.

If your coolant has gone very low due to leaks or taking off a hose for repairs, then fill it 1/2 way to the "max" line with G12 coolant and fill up to the max line with distilled water.

Default is it only available from the dealership?

I can get the same stuff at a VW dealership too right? I assume it would be cheaper than an Audi dealership.

Also, I'm below the min mark. I don't know if there's a leak (don't see anything under my car). I think I'll just top it off with some more coolant/water.

Thanks!

Available at audi/vw dealers. From what you've said though, just use water.
