Default OEM RS4 vs. Reiger RS4...info please?

I am for sure getting the RS4 bumper...but I am not sure if I would like to go OEM or Reiger..what are the major difs. I know that OEM is less for the actual bumper..but the install I hear is pricey? How much exactly to get it to fit right? Does the Reiger hang down lower than OEM or vis versa? Any info would be great..thanks

Default unless you are planning on spending like $15k in body parts as well as.....

custom work... the OEM RS4 is not the way to go..

the Rieger looks ok... it hangs lower than an S4 bumper so if your already low.. your going to scrape.

cheapest scenario... Rieger... more expensive... OEM or going Strictly Foreign..

Default OEM would be great. the install might be cheaper too...

but then your fenders wouldnt line up at all seeing as how the rs4 is considerably wider than the a4/s4. so then you'd be looking at about 10-15k in order to do the wide body conversion to your car. good luck.

Default More on fitting the OEM bumper.

A handful of S4 guys have the OEM RS4 bumper and have not done the full RS4 conversion. It's definitely a tricky install, and I'm sure it takes several hours of toying with the bumper, but the OEM RS4 bumper will fit (ie. will line up with your fender)--at least from the pics I've seen. Good luck

Default Positive.

I just saw the post the other day over on the S4 board. I'm sure a quick search will turn up some pics.

Default If your spending any money, it should look OEM, and that doesnt IMHO

You can see in the first picture how the bumper is slightly wider.

It's not BAD, but it's not great either.

Default ok that looks like it definately took a long time to heat and mold... to conform to fit....

you can actually see the stress in the bumper...
