Default Yeah right. Hakka's will spank any Michelin in deep snow or slush. Go Blizzaks for ice . . .

. . . all these tire comparisons depend on what conditions your in and how much dry weather performance your willing to give up.

Default I respectfully disagree :)

I live in Maine where we know more about snow than we care to, and I have to say that the Blizzaks are not better than the Michelin. I tried both, and the M. also last a whole lot longer. That's according to my experience anyway...

Default go Hakka's IMO,, I tried the Blizzaks and its nice. But in deep snow the Hakkas

are great. I found I could get 3 seasons out of the Hakka's compared to only 2 seasons with the Blizzaks. I drive about 300 miles a week to work. I'm in NH, so yeah I do see a bit of snow.

Default Depends on which Blizzaks you are talking about.

The LM22 is a fine all-season tire, and does not give up much dry weather performance. But as a snow/ice tire it is a big letdown.

That said, I am keeping mine, because they suit my winter driving style very well. But if I were still in the snow belt, I would get *real* snow tires. Hakka1 or HakkaQ.
I had the older Hak10's on my Saab, and they got me through anything! I even raced a friend of mine who had an Audi4000Quattro. It was fun!
