Default 058-133-753-B, listed as a "suction pump". But I'm sure that part number is superceded.

I looked it up on my ETKA, which I'm sure is out-dated.

Default You can have someone sit in the car and rev the engine...

while you check for the leak. Too bad you are DBW, with DBC you can rev the engine manually yourself while checking for those things. Anyway, one of the possible causes for the cracking of those hoses is due to when the coolant tank is moved to the side to get to the oil filter during oil changes. There are sharp edges on the coolant reservoir, sharp enough to dig into those hoses. I have always covered them with towels when doing the oil filter change. I am on the original hoses still also. So, after you find the problem and fix it...make sure you cover those hoses next time you do an oil change w/ filter. If you take it to JiffyLube for oil changes or a like place as that, you can bet they probably split one of your hoses by not being careful. And then..possibly it is not a hose and rather a check valve issue. I have my suspicions though that it is indeed a cracked hose.

Default just ordered the part from ECS....and some other maintenance stuff I'm been holding off...

My last question is (probably a stupid question), but here goes....would a failing "suction pump" cause a minimal loss in boost? I've noticed recently that I've only been holding around 17-18psi, when I normally hold close to 20. I checked all the hoses I can visually see. I guess I'm just a bit curious to know how a suction pump works.

Suction Pump is like any other vac item, if it broke it leaks. Something is broken around there.
