Default Oil Change in the M.D./D.C. area??

My warranty just ended and I'd like to get my oil changed, I live in an apartment complex that won't let me change the oil myself in the parking lot...anyway, could someone reccommend a service station or oil change place in the Rockville/Bethesda area? Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Is it foolish of me to bring my car into a Jiffy Lube? Excuse my ignorance, and thanks in advance.<p>Fuzz. '96 2.8QTip

Re: Don't go to Jiffy Lube!! They'll charge over $30 for an oil/filter change (especially since yours needs 5.25 qts)

Default Auto Centro (Rockville)

I'm a big fan of Auto Centro for all of my out-of-warranty work, including oil changes. They get super ratings in Consumer Checkbook, and it's no secret why. Really competent, scrupulously honest, friendly, decent people. It's a family operation. And they're big fans of Audi/VW/Porsche, especially Paolo, who's the service manager.

Default Murray's Auto Clinic

BeforeTischer took great care of my A4, I went to Murray's for about 15 years. They're located in Silver Spring near the metro and have great techs, fair prices, great guarantee and Milo, the service manager, really gives a sh*t when it comes to cars. They always get great ratings in the Consumer Checkbook surveys, too.
