Oil change nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!...(kinda long)

Default no leak... just like to eat oil...

but I think my valve seals are going...

really?? my 12 valve is so solid.. no leaks nor eats oil..

Default 2.8 does eat oils every one or 2 thous miles. Top it off and constanly check! (m)

Other explanations may also be:

- Coincidenly you have a malfunctions (oil leak)
Do oil presure tests.
Check for any cracked hoses/ leaking gasket
or loose drain plug.

- A friend told me this (believe it or not):

"... when you switch from dyno oil to synthetic
oil for the few 1st times, the seals and gaskets will shrink down as the synthetic oil react differenty to the old gaskets/seals traping some dyno-oil residue in them. A bit of the synth. oil will evaporate (leak) out. But nothing to worry about, as the gasket/seals will 'grow' back again to its size when the old dyno oil residue has evaporate out.."..

Yeah mine too, no signs of leaks, it just drinks it.
