Default Oil Change Virgin

can anyone tell me precise instrustions on how to change the oil on an Audi A4 1.8T 1999.5. thanks

or at least peice it together with a good long search

Drain, remove filter, put on filter, fill...done.

what about replacing drain plug? He's gonna have oil all over the floor! ;-)

Default he probably needs more clarification than that... and probably shouldn't have a sn like "auditech"

jack up car, remove belly pan, drain oil (NOT transmission fluid), remove filter (remember, lefty loosey), prefill new filter halfway and spread oil on the seal also, put new filter on (remember, righty tighty this time), replace drain plug after all oil is drained out, add 3.7 quarts of synthetic oil, unjack car, let it idle for a min then go for a test drive, come back and make sure there are no oil leaks, jack car back up and replace belly pan.

does 'lefty loosey' mean anti-clockwise and 'righty tighty' mean clockwise. I'm not trying to be smart but I heard from somebody that on their car (cant remember what make) it was clockwise to remove and anti clockwise to put on!
