Default Oil Cooler is in!

After a small mistake with the hoses, the oil cooler is finally in and working great.

I'm using a Mocal 180* Sandwich adaptor, Parker hoses and fittings, and a Modine oil cooler.

The tricky part was the metric fittings on the cooler, not the standard pipe thread, or -AN fittings you're used to, which was one of the reasons for going with Parker fittings.
The 90* on the far end was custom welded, as the hose shop didn't have the particular fitting I needed in stock.

The kit isn't cheap, but as you can see it's an absolutely perfect fit. It fits within flow of the radiator fan, so no external cooling is necessary. I don't have a "kit" per se, as some of this is custom. But if someone's interested, shoot me an email.

Preliminary testing has oil temps rock solid between 180 and 200. I'll be testing further this weekend at Streets of Willow.

On to the pictures..

Default I have not seen my oil temp over 225 before (even with 105 ambient day). Is there something....

wrong with my temp gauge? I see typical 180 to 210.

Default Well.

That's still TBD.

The cooler alone however will run roughly $250.
