Default Oil drain plug horror story....

When I tried to drain my oil, I could not get the plug out. Rounded off the head, Vise-grips wouldn't work. Ended up welding an old 1/2" drive socket to the plug, and removing it that way. I thought maybe it was cross-threaded or something, but it wasn't (whew!)
I bought a new plug ($13) and made sure to put anti-sieze compound on it.
