Default Oil leak (could it be valve cover gasket?)

here are some pictures of the passenger side of the motor, where it looks like there's a bit of oil... I drove the car last night decently hard, not stupid or anything, and no high revving, but this morning there was a bit of oil under the car... I haven't really looked TOO hard, just dont really know where to start looking. this is just the first thing I noticed when I pulled the engine cover.

I'm thinking there shouldn't be ANY oil there at all

Default looks like a valve cover gasket leak...also inspect the PCV system...

if the PCV system gets plugged the crankcase can overpressurise causing seal leaks.

Shouldn't your oil cap have a rubber seal around it ?

Default That happens...

that is a valve cover gasket leak for sure. When the car is cool wipe off as much of the oil around the seal as you can. Then after you drive it check it again and see how slow or fast it is leaking. This may be a slow leak and you can put off the gasket change a while longer. Some sweating is normal and can build up over time, so cleaning it and then checking later is the best thing to do. Otherwise, you can buy the gasket and put it on..not too hard. Also, check the PCV(positive crankcase ventilation) valve. It could be full of oil.
