oil leak?? Mechanic said front and rear seal are leaking.

Is this a job for a qualified mech or can a couple of guys fix this. This being a 96 A4 2.8
It also looked like maybe the oil cooler had a drip hanging off of it so this will also need fixed.

The rear main seal is going to require you to drop the transmission. Front seals (Cam? crank?) would be pretty much equivalent to doing a timing belt job.
If you have access to the tools (transmission jack, car lift, air tools.) and feel comfortable enough working on your car then by all means go for it. But if not then it's best left to someone who knows what they're doing...
