of the subframe. Loosen the rear bolts of the subframe and remove the front bolts. If you don't do all of this, you wont be able to pull the pan out even after you get all of the bolts out that attach it to the tranny bell housing.
P.S. There are 2 bolts inside the bellhousing.

I think we could have picked up a freight train with the hoist we used on the engine.
While we are in there we are replacing the Engine mounts (one was shot) and the tranny mounts (might as well)
