1. When I use the oil shop VIN decoder it gives the results but when I check with the AW model guide it says the car I am looking at doesn't have some of the standard features. Huh?!?
2.I need to check the SAP on my 98, what is the easiest way to get to the vacuum tubing?
3. F the remote start. I looked at how to put it on a manual w/alarm and figured screw it. With that 100 I am going to buy the vvme xenons. Any tips for installing it on a 98.5 w/ two piece lights? I heard they have problems with not coming on to full power and a relay or transistor has to be installed. I really don't remember what it was but it was the only problem I found with the xenons.

1. Any features in particular, or are you going to make us guess?

2. Don't know that one.

3. Best tip is save up for some one-piece housings, then install the xenons in them. Don't bother upgrading the two-piece.

Getting another audi but more family orientated. A8 AW model guide says it has heated door locks and every time I run the VIN decoder it says that the car does not have it. I know it is a redundant feature but it is a question that is bugging me.

If it's standard equipment, I wouldn't worry about what a decoder on some russian site says.

DO NOT install HIDs in the two piece lights, HIDs require projectors to prevent blinding traffic
