Oil temp gauge stuck at 150, any ideas?
After driving for about 25 miles (40 minutes) on my homeward commute this evening, the oil temp gauge never got off the lowest reading(150 degrees), normally it approaches 200+, so gauge must have failed. According to the owner's manual, no fuse seems to be involved...Archive search turned up nothing. Any thoughts out there?
Thanks

Re: Oil temp gauge stuck at 150, any ideas?
There are two connectors at the rear of the gauge. When my instr. cluster was replaced, one of them did not seat properly so I had no oil temp reading til it was reconnected. Since yours was working, however, not sure if the connector may have gone bad, or if the gauge or sending unit may be bad...
