Oil temperature erratic in my 1.8T 2000 A4...
I want to replace my oil temperature sensor. I have called three dealerships in the CT area all have told me that one does not exist except on the V6. The Bentley manual I have shows one located on the oil cooler but when I looked on my car it is not there. Anyone out there replace one before and know it's location? One must exist unlike what the dealership says how would the gauge get it's information. This is my first post with a question because the search feature here has always helped. Thank you in advance.
