I really need new suspension..but don't have alot of $$$ to spend
What are your personal favorites for spring shock combos?
I want to go low and stiffen up a little
But I don't want a harsh ride and don't track the car.
This is mostly for looks, but I don't think many of the sport springs have enough of a drop..what to do? what to do? :-/

Realize this...if you want to go lower than most "sport" springs will allow, you WILL sacrifice some ride quality. If you're going to lower your car, you will need to limit suspension travel. That means stiffer shocks and springs. Common sense really.
H&R coilovers are one of my favorite mods on the A4's! Good performance, decent ride quality. If I lived in NYC, I probably wouldn't do it, but otherwise, they are generally very good.

I'm pretty sure he's not interested in spending 2G's on a suspension, so there isn't much point in telling him what he stands to gain if he goes down that road.
None of my opinions have changed (if that's what you're wondering).
