OK - Forge or Bailey valve folks?

Mark...here's my take on this situation...
unless there's an audible reason for limiting your choice to these two, I'd advise you to save your money. I put in the newer Bosch S4 valve (same one is used on the 993 twin turbo), and I have peaks of 22-23psi before settling to around 17-18. I figure if it's good enough for a $100K+ Porsche, then it's certainly good enough for my setup. I really can't think of a reason to spend so much on a valve. Just my $0.02.

I'm a little more than chipped =) but the valve I put in...
holds boost MUCH better now. And while the S4 and 993TT may run lower boost, the valve will more than handle the GT25. The difference in cost for the Forge/Bailey valves just aren't justified for me.

me too. i also looking for another
possibly the forge. My turbo5 one doesn't seem to be as smooth when i got it. and when comparing the stock and the turbo5 one, there wasn't a big difference in the feel of the spring rate as i was pushing the springs inside the bypass valves.
if the turbo5 can hold 1.5bar of boost, it maybe too close to even letting a small amount of boost by.
honky? man, that word cracks me up. haven't heard it in awhile.
