Ok a good question I have been wondering???
Whats is a faster/more powerful set up 1.8T with the best turbo and what not/setup money can buy or the 2.8L 30v with the PES supercharger and all the nice toppings.

I can decifer... 1.8t w/ big turbo setup is faster/more powerful than 2.8 PES setup..
granted Supercharged 2.8 might have less lag than some of BT 1.8t setups. 1.8t can produce far more power than typical 2.8 PES system. Are you asking which engine to use in terms of purchasing new car? Both PES kit for 2.8 and stage 3 (or higher homebrew) for 1.8t will run you a decent amount. "best turbo" is an interesting way to phrase it. As far as systems you can purchase (packaged) 1.8t is more powerful, as far as setups you can create yourself, 1.8t is more powerful. You can create your own 1.8t system that will yield in excess of 400 HP, as a number of AW members have proven.. If you are asking which motor is more reasonably "tunable" then 1.8t is what you are looking for. Reliability might lean towards 2.8.. Hopefully this helps somewhat.. Nonetheless, the question is phrased oddly, which is what the other posts have suggested.

I got the 2.8L and the motor is real strong... just when it comes to mods I wish they had more!
Guess i will just keep saving for the PES G2. I have always been a fan of the 6 and 8 cylinder motors... This always makes me wonder how much power you could get out of the 2.8 if money was no option.....
