Default Um. You're not taking into account that the 2.8 block and bottom end was not engineered

to do forced induction.

What you just said really doesn't make any rational sense. The examples you gave are engines built for boost. The 2.8 is not. There is a huge difference. It's not a simple matter of displacement.

More displacement = more HP if it's an apples to apples comparison. What you're doing is an apple to oranges comparison.

Sorry but no, the Eaton M62 is only good for maybe 320hp max

Default there is a cost to power curves for each engine... it all depends on your power goals

where you fall on it. If you have to build the motor, 4 cylinders is cheaper than 6 cylinders. If you need to build the head, 1 bank is cheaper than 2 banks.

Now if you goal is 800+ hp then you start to hit a wall or vertical slope
