Ok, I was set on PES for the t-28, then I learned that the t-28 is not a ball-bering turbo. I am
guessing that the non ball bering will have more lag and generate more heat compared with the gt-25. Is the t-28 ceramic coated? Any input would be appereciated.

I'm not a turbo expert, but... (more questions inside)
I'm guessing non ball bearing turbos would work with oil, but wouldnt the bearings heat up due to all the friction ?
I know ball bearings turbos are more expensive but what are the benfits ?
Also, the t-28 is made by garrett but who makes the gt-25 ?
how old are these turbos designs ?
And how do they compare to the t03/t04e
wouldn't a T28 be bigger than a t04?

actually, the everything on the market aside from the GT series turbos are old
deisel designs that have seen no real innovations. The GT series are the only new real technology on the turbo front.
