i still want that bad *** sound they make. Do you get that with a bypass valve? And heard you can hook up the BOV like a BPV and have it work like a BPV but still get the badass sound. Is this true?

You cannot hook up a BOV like a BPV. Even if you could, it is the escaping air that makes the PPPPSSSSSTTT sound. If air escapes - it is not hooked up like a BPV.

Maybe someone can come up with the link for the fake little speaker thing that makes the sound or maybe you could just roll down your window and go PPPPPSSSSSTTTTTTT real loud.

but they are more expensive, and only well made ones enhance performance...most are detrimental.

what if you get a BOV and then reprogram the ECU to compensate for the loss of air?

the turbo wont keep spooled while ur shifting. Give it up there is no upside to bov's besides a cool "sound"

Is the single stupidest reason to mess with a complicated, well engineered, engine.
