TT: Cheaper and easy to replace if anything happens.

Default The Turbo XS worked great on my car without a FMIC.

It is also adjustable and made with a full metal piston valve. Man I need to get that thing back from juan. I think the main problem with it on my car with the FMIC had to do more with the compression problem my car had at the time.

Default hey cmh...didn't you say there was some problem with something leaking?

once you sealed up some screws or something...it was just fine? my turbo xs valve seems to flutter instead of give the typical bpv sound. got any ideas?

Default The flutter you are hearing is the valve closing and opening real fast.

It started doing that alot on my car after a while and I was not sure if it was the FMIC or because my compression was going bad. I let juan use it and it works great on his VW GTI.

How many spacers do you have in it right now?

Default i'm running stock boost....so no spacer. is it just that i'm not running enough boost to

hold the valve open? if i chipped it...would it stay open because it has to flow more air?

Default You can just try adding 1-2 spacers and see if it helps. This helps make the spring a little

stronger and make it open faster. The other problem is the valve is very touchy when it see's a change in pressure/vac in the small line on the top.
