Default Have you read Sean's experience with Neuspeed springs?

He had Neuspeed springs and then swapped them out for H&R's.<ul><li><a href="http://www.seansa4page.com/mya4s/97/susp/susp.html">Sean's A4 Page -- Suspension</a></li></ul>

Does it happen while you're on the brakes Mike?

Default If it is coming from the back, try to spray that upper control arm, the one you feel under the rear

fender over the tire with some silicone oil or WD40. Just spray the connecting points over the wheel and on the suspension housing. That was when I first noticed my squeeks 2 years ago. If not, it is coil binding as Andy mentioned below

Nope. Not while on the brakes. Just when hitting bumps.

Default Ok.. just called Neuspeed and they said...

It is most likely a sound made by the silicone wrap on the spring rubbing. The silicone wrap there is to prevent noise from coil bind, but is some cars the silicone itself makes that noise. Neuspeed recommended cutting off the silicone and said that should alleviate the noise. If not, they would send me a new set of springs. Blasted. How the heck do I cut off the silicone?! I am mechanically dumb.
