Default as long as you're using 91+, sure. but, I tend to use Amoco, Sunoco, Mobil, Texaco and Exxon.

...maybe a Shell or Chevron while traveling.

I could be wrong, but don't places like that just get the gas that they get for the lowest bid? I would think that you'd be getting all kinds of additives from previous brands. Although, isn't that what I do by going to whichever gas station as the lowest price that day?

nothing. they're just not local to me in the NE. I think they're more on the West coast and South.

Default Watch out

I have recenlty had a badexpeience with a batch of gas from a distributor(who will remain nameless) that sent my STOCK A4 into shaking and loss of power. I was worried for a while. It's an easy fix, just get a good batch of gas and some fuel injector cleaner but it sucked given at the time I had no idea what went wrong.
