I believe they fit 96-2001.5, since they haven't changed speaker sizes.

Default The adapters definitely fit (I have a 2001.5 non-bose), but your speakers may not...

There is a door brace that appeared a couple of years ago. Depending on how deep your speakers are, they may interfere with this brace (which many just trim or bend to fit their speakers...)

Default No, because it's not just a simple depth problem...

the door brace cuts a diagonal and is not directly behind the deepest part of the speaker... and since the backs of speakers are somewhat conical, and then have a magnet stuck on the end, there is no exact depth I could provide you with. Some speaker shapes will hit the bracket even if they aren't that deep just because they reach that "maximum depth" quicker, hence hitting the brace. Some others may not hit the brace at all even if their maximum depth is deeper, if that depth is reached in such a way that the speaker isn't too deep at whatever part the brace cuts across it. Does this make any sense?

It's supposedly not a huge deal... many people here have had a small part of the brace trimmed off to make room for the speaker to clear. Oh, that's the other thing... the brace appears to be in the way more so when the door is being re-assembled than when the door is fully in place since the brace appears above and slightly towards the rear of the speaker's final installed position.
