Whats up with using solid lifters? AFAIK, they need frequent attention... I'd imagine you don't want to give it that frequent attention so I assume there is something behind this and I'm missing something...

but this motor was built for road course racing with sustained high rpms and max performance, so i am willing to do a little lifter overhauling ever few years if required.
The solid lifter setup, removes the possibilities of valve float, and offers a different cam profile that I was not able to find seperately.
The head and valve train was blueprinted and match machined to ensure precise contact with each of the valves so we'll see when and if they start to get noisey.

But I guess the louder they become the more out of lash they become.
Definitely applaud you for this, not many people do solid lifters... other than race teams.
You should be getting close for a full tune, no?
