Default OMG Kelly Blue Book is way too high

30k for my car with 12,000 miles on it? I didn't even pay that much.

when my car was stolen, 2 yrs and 25k miles, blue book was the same as the sticker when i bought it.

Default Don't even waste your time w/ KBB...

There are other books used to determine car's value - Black Book and Galves being just couple of them. As a matter of fact, Edmund's TMV seems to be one of the more accurate guides available to consumers.
