I went to fix the problem outlined <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2551962.phtml">here</a> and found that two of the nuts welded onto my cat had been cross threaded. So, I can't get the new bolts in there straight. Thanks DCH, you incompetent dingbats! So now I have a half fixed exhaust with one bolt in straight and still a small exhaust leak. It's unreal how they could be this dumb. So, in order to fix it correctly, I now have to take the cat out and the downpipe as one unit and cut the old nuts off and make sure theres no threads in the holes and put in new bolts and nuts and drop the thing back in. I still cannot believe this is happening.
