OEM 2-piece with integrated fogs to OEM 1-piece and separate fogs.
Is the harness different? Or, is it all the same wiring?

Is the bumper different? I always thought the bumpers were the same, just an added bracket and different side bumper grilles, but this picture suggests that the bumper is molded with the fog surrounds.

What's the story?

I already know the 98 from wiring in seperate driving lamps . We can fabricate a decent harness and loom it. I even have another dash switch if you'd want to put Hella DE lamps in bumper and wait on the 1 pc until later. Whatever you want to do,its your call, but I'll help. We can even tap the fogs or driving lamps off the underdash terminal strip to come on with park lamps ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Besides I would then see if you'd like to help me add fogs to our new Edge at some date or we could just have a lamp install party, and invite anyone else in the area to join in.

oem wiring for later fogs is completely different, probably impossible to replicate.
the bumpers are different, there are mounting nubs for the fogs on later models.

If I need him to also pull the headlight harnesses, I will. My concern now is with mounting the fogs in the bumper. I'm more than a bit **** about OEM appearance and correct OEM parts (it's an illness, lol). I may have to make a run over to Albert's house and dissect his fogs to see how they are mounted and what pieces are different.
I'm not interested in replacing the bumper, but I don't want to go w/o fogs -- not b/c I think they are uber important, but b/c I want to maintain OEM functionality.

Can't you just tap into the existing fog wiring with a correct connector?

However, the easiest way to do this would be run the power from the original fog wiring down to the lamps. Either ground locally or run a ground wire back up to the headlight wiring.
This way you don't have to add any extra wiring to the inside for additional fogs.
Are you getting ecodes or DOT lamps?
