You need new wiring harnesses if you're going from 2 pieces

Default One piece projectors questions

Ok Now I have the one pieces when I do the mod and after the cutting of the fender (me=1999.0) are the lights direct plug and play? Does anyone have the wire color codes(which wire is which)? and what do I do with the fog's. Yes I will be getting some other fogs soon, so can I use the OEM switch for the new ones?

Default heres what i did.....

heres a pic of what your harness should look like. if you wanna upgrade the harness you can get the 99.5 and up harness at the dealer and cut and splice the new wires into the new harness. what i did was use the stock pre 99.5 harness that looks like the one in the pic and got a plastic piece and dremeled a hole just big enough to fit the harness in there and used silicone to weather proof and seal it to the stock cover (click on link). With the fogs, i just spliced into the stock fog wires that were on the harness so i could use the factory button. if you got any questions just email me.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/17760/light_plug.1.jpg</a
