Which One of These Wires Operates the Starter Solenoid?
We've had the typical occasional "failure to turn over issue" on our 2001 A4 1.8T. The clutch switch checks out okay and the next suspect is the ignition switch. I'm wondering if I can tap into one of the wires here to send 12V to the starter solenoid via an "emergency" switch? Has anyone done this? A new switch is on order but I'd like to be prepared in case that doesn't do the trick. Thanks!
