Default Opinions...Clear Tail lights?

Should I put clear tail lights on my Black 99.5. I have the Euro spec head light housing with the clear corners. Do you think that it would look to ricey? Anyone got pics?

I think smoked taillights look good on a black car.

Default I had clear tails on my car...my opinion is...

(1) the reflectors always show through the clear and I think on an audi they look a little ricey
(2) I tried removing the reflectors (cutting them out) and replacing with colored bulbs but the reflectors in the in.pro lights were difficult to remove. I did manage to remove the orange reflector and they looked a little a better but not much
(3) the clear tails did not fit as well and the lines on the truck were off. Also the trim piece that atatches to the lights was also off once the lights were installed even after alot of adjustment. Actually the trunk edge contacted the lights.
(4) If you could paint them etc.. they might look better but I overall I agree with the rest of the crew...go for the smoke...the clears just dont do it

Default Capital GACK! Nothing more ricey. Do your Audi a favor and trade it in for a Civic.....

Clear tail lights look gimmicky even on factory cars like IS-300

Default Re: Ricey

I think clear lights on the back are ricey, but if you really wanted to do I would go w/smoked not clear.
