I just spoke to my salesman and he said that his printout from the 15th said my car is at a code D. He stated that D meant that the car has been built and is waiting to be shipped from Germany to the U.S. Is this correct? And if so, how much longer do I have to wait? It has been 10 weeks since I ordered the car and I'm not really in a hurry, just "curious" to know if my dealer is telling me the truth. He said 2-4 more weeks. Thanks for any helpful info.

According to the F.A.Q. section D means "in production"

Your future "german friend" is most likely sitting in a German port holding lot- waiting for the "cranes" to load the container onto the ship- just guessing
