ordering parts for a clutch replacement. what do i need?
clutch, flywheel, bolts (flywheel to crank, pressure plate to flywheel), pilot bearing, trans guide sleeve & seals, rear main seal, trans output shaft seal.
anything else i should replace?
also what special tools do i need or would help?
how high does the car need to be raised to take the trans out?

How many miles on the car will have a lot to do with how many of those parts you replace...
You definitely want:
-Clutch disk
-Pressure Plate
-Throwout bearing
The parts decrease or increase in need based on mileage and how hard the car is driven.
Are you going aftermarket flywheel? Worried about needing to resurface the flywheel? If so, add in a new flywheel and 6 flywheel bolts.
As for special tools, you'll need a clutch alignment tool (Comes with aftermarket kits usually), a good set of XZN/Triple Square bits for the axles, and some degreaser for cleaning out the bellhousing if you're a neat freak like me. :-)

Trans input seal, clutch pivot pin, throw-out bearing, slave cyl., fluid, cat/DP gasket, more:
New bolts for the axle flanges as they often get buggered up. Some people replace the CV to flange seals - I clean then well and put a little tiny bit of sealant on them.
You may want to do the axle flange output seals if they look damp at all.
If your trans mounts are old or you want to upgrade now is the time to replace.
Fresh oil for the trans?
How's your shifter linkage feel? Could upgrade it while it's all apart there will never be a better time.
Tools:
You'll need the special torx bit for the axle flange bolts. I forget the size.
Some realllllly long extensions to get the exhaust cat/DP bolts as well as maybe the lower engine/trans bolts. Those also are easier with a allen/torx (I forget which they are) as there is almost no room to get a socket in there. Some cars are worse than others. It often helps to raise the motor a little after loosening the mounts.
Be prepared to break exhaust studs/bolts - if they feel questionable STOP and apply a LOT of heat to them.
