Default OSRAM 7507 LDA signal bulb which flashes amber.

I was surfing the osram website and noticed these bulbs. They are said to have a bluish tint when not lit but become amber once lit. I'm sure there may have been some discussion on this already as I found one post in the archives but does anyone know if these are readily available and do they fit the A4?<ul><li><a href="http://catalog.osram.com/scripts/artikel.asp?art=7507LDA">http://catalog.osram.com/scripts/artikel.asp?art=7507LDA</a</li></ul>

Default The 2000+ use a wedge bulb.

Previous US models use a similar cylinder base but with a different key pattern.

Default Another Pic of the '00 US bulb

Also note the three contacts in the socket. The bulb has two filaments, one for turn signal one for parking light.

Default The only socket which will fit the OSRAM 7507...

<img src="http://www.dynamictechgroup.com/audi/mvc-356f.jpg">

is the one which comes with Eurolight housings. But that has a two contact socket which will not fit a US harness connector. So even if you get one you will have to rig up your own harness plug.

Also note the notches on the socket. The US cylynder bulb has them at 12 and 6 o'clock directly opposite of each other. The european socket has the notches at 12 and 5 o'clock.
