...I'm going to be there for a wedding this weekend. Heard the Roxy is a fun place (for Friday night), but would like some updated info and thoughts on other places. Staying in Waltham, wedding is in Medford. Gonna be there tonight thru Monday evening. Only plans thus far is the wedding on Sat. night and Redsox game at Fenway on Sunday.

Thoughts/Suggestions.

although it might not be so bad on a Friday night. Thusrsday/Saturday are more crowded. Lansdowne St...behind the Green Monster at Fenway has a few Clubs. A littel variety. If you are more of a bar/pub kinda person...go to Fanueial Hall. About 20 bars there. Have fun

Avalon, Axis, etc etc. Stay away from Avalon on Monday nights - it's drag night. I'm not much of a clubber, so I don't know too much about them. When I go, I go for the concert (usually @ Avalon).

I don't think they are too strict. I know the places on Landsdowne are more strict. I wouldn't wear blue jeans if I were going out clubbing. And of course, no sneakers no hats. I've seen people with cargo pants, wife-beater and print shirts at these places. I know this isn't too much help...but just dress nice and you'll be all set.
