has some very cool and innovative functions you don't usually see. I've seen plenty of watches which had digital compasses...**** you can get ones like that for 100 bux.

But this one actually takes the hands, aligns them so they're straight like a needle and then tracks the hands back and forth to simulate a analog compass.

For the barometer, which is a function of the altimiter. The watch samples the pressure over an 8 hour interval, then using the hands it will show you the trend, be it rising (clear weather) or falling (rainy weather) over the last 8 hours, that's a good indicator of what kinda weather to expect.

Anyhow...I like it, suppose that's all that matters. I'll probably get my Tag cleaned up and a new battery put in as well...it's not like it's broken or anything.
