Other than low oil pressure light, what are some other oil sludge symptoms?

The reason i'm asking is I was checking my oil and I noticed a few very small globs on the dip stick. Car runs fine but just made me start wondering.

Globs are bad. Do you take a lot of short trips?

change the oil....

see how much it takes to fill it. if you have much sludge the oil capacity might be low.
