Default Is over-filling the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir bad to do?

Had my PS pump replaced this past Friday by a local indy shop.

Filled up with gas Sunday and checked all fluids.

Found the PS fluid to be about an inch over the Max line.

Just wondering if this is bad for the pump or not.

I have a baster that I can suck some of the over-fill out with.

Default nah, you're fine...

it's just a reservoir that holds the fluid and isn't pressurized or anything. No harm done.
