I have been comparing APR to awe-tuning and there is quite a difference.
APR chip and exhaust for 1.8
214hp and 250 torque $1200
Awe-tuning KO4 turbo with chip, exhaust manifold and exhaust
238hp and 260 torque $3000
How does APR pump out such great numbers?? With a larger turbo and exhaust manifold awe tuning can only get out another 24hp and 10 torque?? No other companies like TAP or garret can match the numbers that APR are getting. Are they really that much better than the rest? I have seen NO real dyno readings for any company, except for TAP, so it gives me reason to not trust APR. How bout some real 'to the wheel' dyno readings, instead of excel graphs? That would make things clear about which upgrades acutally make the hp and torque.

The TAP II chip + exhaust puts out 218 hp. That is more (slightly) than what a similar APR setup puts out at 214 hp. Not sure about torque but i'm sure they are similar also.
