Overblown flappy bass on Infinity 6022si (rear deck)

Overblown flappy bass on Infinity 6022si (rear deck)
Replaced blown BOSE on rear deck with Infinity 6022si. Generally they sound OK but often I get flappy bass. Any advice?

All I can think of is loose materials on the rear deck causing it...
or you replaced the wrong defective speaker. If the amp was bad, you'd probably hear something worse than flapping. Or maybe no sound at all?

If you've eliminated the speaker and rear deck...then the next step is to work up the chain...
amplifier! Can you get access to another working amplifier from another car, and swap it in?
